Let&#8217;s walk along the path and imagine what life would look like with the light rail.<\/p> <\/div> <div class=\"schema-faq-section\" id=\"faq-question-1775599756791\"><strong class=\"schema-faq-question\">Do I have to walk?<\/strong> <p class=\"schema-faq-answer\">Nope! You can show up near the starting point (Gemenskap Park) to show your support or just show up at the end point (the Beach at Expedia Group). You can also bail and take the D line if you get tired of walking. <br><br>Please note: The D line is not a suitable alternative for the light rail. Who should I contact for accessibility questions\/concerns?<\/strong> <p class=\"schema-faq-answer\">Most of the walk is what you&#8217;d generally expect on Seattle sidewalks. However the walk is notably inaccessible for wheelchair users and those using mobility aids on the Ballard bridge (for several reasons described below) and in North Interbay due to foliage obstructions. The walk also has loud noises from nearby traffic. <br><br>We encourage participants with mobility issues to skip those sections of the walk using the D line starting at NW Leary Way and rejoining us at W Dravus Street.<br><br>Email us at saveballardrail@gmail.com with any questions or accommodation requests.<br><br><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">More about Sidewalks on Ballard Bridge<\/span><br>The Ballard bridge is 3.5 ft in width with only a small concrete divider separating pedestrians\/bikers from incoming traffic.
